XENON local shopper privacy policy

This policy describes how the XENON local shopper Chrome extension handles data. The extension’s single purpose is to find public marketplace listings for the exact trading card selected by the user in XENONTCG and return matching listing evidence to that XENONTCG card page.

Data the extension handles

• Selected card details: card name, collector number, expansion, edition, finish, language, grader and grade or raw condition.
• Public marketplace listing information: listing URL, title, price or current bid, currency, seller-stated condition, item details, auction end information and limited public description text needed to check the card identity.
• Extension preferences: whether the shopper is paused and whether each supported marketplace is enabled.
• Browser requests: when a search runs, the browser connects to the selected marketplaces. Those sites receive ordinary request information such as the search terms, IP address and browser information and may receive their own cookies under their privacy policies.

How the data is used

The extension uses this data only to search supported marketplaces, inspect candidate listing pages, distinguish the selected card from other printings or grades, and display the results on the requesting XENONTCG card page. It does not purchase, bid, list an item, read passwords, read payment details, or access Chrome autofill data.

Storage and retention

Marketplace results are processed locally in the browser and kept temporarily for request coalescing and a short cooldown. The extension stores only its enable, pause and marketplace preferences in Chrome local extension storage until the user changes them or removes the extension. XENON Market Technologies Ltd does not use the extension to create a server-side history of the marketplace pages a user visits.

Sharing and sale

The extension returns listing results only to the local XENONTCG page that requested the search. XENON Market Technologies Ltd does not sell extension user data, use it for advertising, credit decisions or unrelated purposes, or share it with data brokers. Marketplace requests are sent directly to the marketplace selected for retrieval; each marketplace processes those requests under its own privacy policy.

Permissions

The extension uses storage to remember its controls; tabs and windows to open and close owned marketplace pages in a separate minimized window; scripting to read the public listing evidence needed for matching; and site access for the marketplaces named in the extension. These permissions are used only for the shopping-assistant purpose described above.

User choices and deletion

Users can pause the shopper from its toolbar popup. Marketplace access can be managed in Chrome’s extension settings. Removing the extension deletes its Chrome local storage. Users can also clear site cookies and browsing data using Chrome’s controls.

Security and children

Search requests are accepted only from supported XENONTCG card pages. Inputs and returned evidence are size-limited, searches are time-limited, and owned tabs are closed after a search. The extension is not directed to children under 13.
